First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board
Andrei Sokolov was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Alfa-Bank in July 2007. Before that he served as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Alfa-Bank (2003-2007).
He is responsible for dealings with the Federal Government, Judicial and Legislative Authorities, and for the Bank’s participation in implementation of government programmes.
Prior to joining Alfa-Bank Andrei Sokolov’s was Chairman of the Board of RESO-Garantia and Deputy Chairman of the Boards of MDM Bank and Conversbank.
Andrei Sokolov holds a degree in Mathematics from Moscow State University. He was born in 1955 in Moscow.
