Head of Treasury
Mehdi Shirazee joined Alfa-Bank in 2005 as Head of Alfa-Bank’s Treasury department.
Before joining Alfa-Bank he headed the Treasury department of ABN AMRO Bank in Moscow (1998-2005). From 1997 to 1998 Mr Shirazee was Vice-President and Head of the Money market Division at Saudi American Bank in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Prior to that, he served as Head of Treasury for Citibank Moscow from 1993 to 1997. Mr Shirazee worked for Citibank Pakistan as Head of Treasury from 1984 to 1993.
Mehdi Shirazee graduated from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, in 1984. He holds an MBA degree.
