Deputy Head of Investment Banking of Alfa-Bank
Nikolai Shmigol is responsible for position keeping, limits control, internal business reporting, and international and documentary compliance. Prior to joining Alfa-Bank in 2000, Shmigol was Head of Treasury and General Director at United Financial Group (UFG), a Moscow based Equity and Fixed Income brokerage house. He is a graduate of the State Finance Academy, and he holds a BA Hons and a Ph.D. (pending). Shmigol was born in Moscow on 15 February 1970.
He was appointed Director of Operations in March 2003.
