Head of Internal Audit
Danila Smirnov is Head of Internal audit of Alfa-Bank. Before joining Alfa-Bank in April 2004, Danila worked with KPMG Moscow as a Manager in the Banking and Financial services department. Prior to his time with KPMG, Danila Smirnov worked for Bank Austria Creditanstalt, Bank MENATEP and Russian National Commercial Bank.
Born in 1969, Danila Smirnov graduated from the Moscow State Technical University as an engineer and from the Moscow Finance Academy as an economist of international economic relations. He later qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ACCA) and was admitted as a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (United Kingdom) on 30 November 2005.
