ECP/MTN Programmes

Euro Commercial Paper (ECP) and Euro Medium-Term Note (EMTN) Programmes, which were established in June 2004, enable Alfa Banking Group to finance itself on international capital markets at regular intervals and to take advantage of favourable market conditions in the short to medium term. Each of these programmes has a framework amount and can be utilised by issuing individual tranches.

Alfa Banking Group’s EMTN Programme, with a listing on the London Stock Exchange, currently enables flexible issuance of bonds up to a maximum volume of $2 billion in all major currencies and with various coupon structures. The Programme is rated Ba1 (with a stable outlook) by Moody’s and BB (with a stable outlook) by Standard & Poor’s. The notes issued under the EMTN Program are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by OJSC Alfa-Bank and ABH Financial Ltd. Merrill Lynch International and UBS Investment Bank act as the joint arrangers of the programme. The dealers of the programme are Merrill Lynch International, UBS Investment Bank, Barclays Capital and JPMorgan.

EMTN Program



The ECP Programme currently holds up to $1 billion and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Merrill Lynch International and UBS Investment Bank act as dealers and joint arrangers of the program. Notes from the ECP Program are unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by OJSC Alfa-Bank and ABH Financial Ltd. The ECP Program is rated B by Standard & Poor’s.
