Sergey Bakumov joined Alfa-Bank in 1994. He has been a member of the Credit Committee since 1995 and a member of the Bank’s Investment Committee since 1999.
Before joining Alfa-Bank he worked in different positions for the State Technical Commission under the Russian Federation President. He is a retired colonel.
Born in 1957, Sergey Bakumov graduated from Zhytomir High School of Electronics in 1978, Kharkov Military Engineering Academy in 1992 and the New Academy of Human Studies in 1996.
