IT (IT — Information Technologies) Tasks Steering Committee

The IT Tasks Steering Committee is a collective managing body of the Bank appointed by a resolution of the Bank Executive Board and accountable to the Board. The principle task of the IT Steering Committee is decision-making relating to setting of IT task priorities and projects of the Bank and distribution of Bank’s IT resources for implementation of such tasks and projects.

The purpose of the Committee’s activities is to provide effective organization of decision-making relating to setting priority IT tasks or projects of the Bank within the Bank’s available IT resources and under the conditions of the optimal distribution of operational risks in banking technologies and processes.

The functions of the IT Tasks Steering Committee are:

  • To provide priority assignment of IT tasks designed to introduce new IT solutions of the Bank and change the existing IT solutions and supporting information systems thereof.
  • To provide distribution of IT resources among the Divisions approved by an Order of the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Bank.

The IT Tasks Steering Committee is headed by the Chairman appointed to this office by the Chief Managing Director of the Bank. The numerical and personal membership of the Committee is approved by the Chairman of the Committee. The IT Tasks Steering Committee is competent to pass resolutions on matters submitted for consideration to it, if at the meeting of the Committee there are present 2/3 of its members or more. A resolution of the IT Tasks Steering Committee is passed if more than a half of the Committee members being present have voted “for” such decision.
